Many events will be organized so as to mark the occasion. To start of, the statue will be held at each Parish for a month each. Each corresponding Parish will organize its own programme. It offers information about Our Lady of Europe and the Shrine, including spirituality and historical articles. He reminds everyone that Our Lady of Europe, Gibraltar's Patroness, continues to intercede and protect this community. He wishes this Advent to be a form of preparation for Our Lady's Jubilee. The Diocese is celebrating 700 years of devotion to Our Lady of Europe.
