A series of services are offered from the Shrine of
Our Lady of Europe. Most of these services require
booking in advance so that we can accommodate all
events taking place. Regularly the Shrine has to be
reserved for the whole day for those who are
undergoing: a time of recollection, a day of prayer
or in-house presentations. Other visits may take a
couple of hours.
Please note, that the Shrine will be visited by a series of Pilgrimage Groups, Movements and Schools throughout this Jubilee Year. A very busy period is envisaged. We therefore ask for your kind assistance in getting in touch us as soon as possible so that we are in the best position to welcome everyone. Thank you!
SUMMER OPENING HOURS
(July and August 2010):
Monday to Friday: 10:00am to 1:00pm
Saturday: From 11.00am to 1.00pm
Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed
Or as pre-arranged with ourselves.
The times for Holy Mass may vary from day to day -according to needs and circumstances. Saturday Mass at Noon (12:00 MD) and Wendesday Mass at 7:15pm remains unchanged -everyone is welcome.
All Baptisms and Marriages require prior arrangement with the Shrine Rector or Staff. Please check our "Contact" page.
When booking for an event or service, please let us know what your requirements are and the format that your time at the Shrine will include. We desire your period at the Shrine to be of spiritual profit. We remain at your disposal for any further arrangements or suggestions and assure you that we will endeavour to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible.
Our humble Shrine Display Section -beside the Chapel- is accessible during general opening hours. This display includes images, photos and historical objects. Though small, it does provide a good graphical perspective of the Shrine's history. Entrance is free to all visitors!
