Advent Once Again!

Goodness me! Today we start to celebrate the season of Advent! It must me a sign of getting older when I just cannot keep track of how time keeps constantly evading me; it seems that last Advent was only yesterday! This must be a sign of either having a good time or of getting older. In my case, the latter...

In the same manner that I have expressed my surprise at the arrival of Advent, I must also mention that the religious significance of Advent itself has an element of surprise. If Advent is a season to prepare for the Coming of Christ, I would do well in that it doesn't catch me unawares, i.e. by surprise.

Am I getting ready to receive Jesus? Or maybe, I'm just too overwhelmed by all these Christmas preparations? Maybe I need to balance the two.

It's amazing! Once we embark on something new, why is it that we are plain scared that things will go wrong? I sincerely hope that this blog will go well. The same applies to this site! I understand that this website is not yet fully optimized, but I'm assured it will be soon!
